name that tree for me

by admin on March 19, 2010

I have a lovely new pendant design, it’s a reverse silhouette tree.
but for the life of me I can’t think of an interesting name for it. Selling online interesting names are a good and important thing thing. It doesn’t have to be complicated simple is totally fine. But reverse silhouette sounds terribly confusing and unmemorable. So I need help.

what tree?

So here’s the challenge, help me name this pendant. Throw your ideas at me.

What’s in it for you?

How about a SuperVery pendant of your choosing sent to your door.

The name i pick as my favourite will win a free pendant pf their choice and to make it a fair deal I’ll also do a random number draw for everyone who posts a name here in the comments. Yup that’s 2 prizes just for helping sue pick a name for her latest pendant.

you can enter as many times as you like, so if you have multiple ideas make multiple comments.

I’ll run this till Monday the 29th of March.

Update: My current tree names for the existing collection are spring, autumn and twisted, so those are taken.

It’s beautiful and I’d love to win one! My suggestions are the ‘Bodhi Tree’ pendant, as I think it looks like one. Otherwise the ‘Tree of Life’ pendant.

How about Autumn? Seasonally appropriate and it’s when leaves falls from the trees leaving only their silhouettes.

Your jewelery art is gorgeous and so unique and different.

The tree on the moon… the circle reminds me of a moon, and there is a Maori myth about a woman and tree on the moon too :)

Talofa Sue! I love your design, and if you don’t pick me – then send me one and bill me! It was a beautiful moment to see one of your tree pendants in a magazine recently (Good? Mindfood?) – especially whilst still feeling homesick :(

So, my choice for this design – a quiet simple one: Grow.

Wishing you creative wellness, x.

What about:

Shades of tree.

How about….”The Inner Tree”

Lisa March 28, 2010 at 10:41 pm

OH! SUE! LOVE IT!! Will be buying one of these bad boys!

The name that popped into my head is just a simple Pearl Jam song lyric … “Up here in my tree”

Julia April 2, 2010 at 7:28 pm

I know I’m too late, but the name that sprang to mind was ‘echo’ – though I’d imagine you’ve picked one already
