Sunday shopping with Sue

If you are in Wellington Tomorrow

do try and make it to the Thorndon fair, it’s one huge street fair that attracts around 25,000 people shopping from over 250 stalls. I’m one of those stalls.

For Thorndon Fair i always do some extra special in person specials, so do pop over and say hi.

I’m right outside The Michael Fowler Gallery which is right next to the Shepherds Arms.
it’s the same spot i’ve been lucky to have for the last few years

The fair runs from Tinakori road to hill street and make sure you walk the entire fair becuase there are great discoveries to be made. My hot tip is to arrive at 10 the later in the day you come the busier the fair gets, but if you arrive around 10 you can have a shop and then sit back and have brunch at The Shepherds arms and watch the world go by.

while some of the stalls have el cheapo imported stuff :/
loads of the stalls feature handmade items, you’ll even catch some of the lovely Craft2.0 sellers like
- Miss Millie and her sock monkeys, she’s on hill street
- LONE MOOSE at the Bowen St end of Tinakori St
- Yakety Knack Craft Kits at the Bowen St end of Tinakori St
- FrecKLED specKLED Kidzwear outside the Thorndon across from upland st
- :agnescoy: made by hand on hill street
