Fashion Friday

by sue on April 3, 2009

040309I’ve had loads of lovely emails about what i wear on TV every Friday. Being a Curvy girl i do know how hard it is to find lovely pretty clothes that look good and make you feel pretty. I’ve been very lucky to have the help of lovely Jo at PrettyPrettyPretty when it comes to fashion, and getting me into bright colours and dresses as opposed to my former always wear of black top and black trousers.

So I’m going to write each Friday about what I’ve been wearing that day.

First up my favourite thing about today’s outfit, 3 lovely rings that Martha at WandaHarland kindly lent me.

All three rings are NZ made and since i dropped them back at the shop you can pop into the shop now and buy them. Possibly my favourite is the fabric ring made using Japanese kimono fabric, it’s such a delicate look, but the ring is beautifully strong and sturdy so it’s perfect for the Crafty lifestyle.

From my own ring collection (i have a lot of rings, becuase i keep losing them and buying more at every Craft2.0) I’m wearing a silver cast button ring i picked up at Pataka and a vintage red ring my mum used to wear.img_2759

My necklace is one of my creations, a beautiful unicorn. I’m a big fan of unicorns and you can buy my unicorns in person at Craft2.0 on April the 11th at TheNewDowse. Or if you can’t make it to craft2.0 you can head over to my shop on felt where there is a selection of unicorns to choose from.

Today i  wore a hot pink Dress and a cute little black cardy, both from the Kate Madison range at the Warehoouse. I totally love this dress so much i have in in black as well. I was also lucky enough to pick both up at a sale so the outfit set me back $35 in total, which was an extremly sweet deal.

Yay! I’m so glad you bought that pink dress, the black one looks awesome on you, and bright colours are totally the right thing for someone so vibrant to be wearing!

My black unicorn is a fave. My friend wanted to borrow a necklace from me one night to wear out on the town, and she chose the unicorn above all my other necklaces. And then she kept ‘forgetting’ to return it. I pretty much had to steal it back.
